Age
A candidate shall not be less than 20 years of age and not be more than 35 years of age as on 31/07/2018.
Education Qualification
A candidate shall hold a Bachelor’s degree of any University incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by Government or A candidate who has appeared or intend to appear or awaiting result of final semester/year of the required qualification, can apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting application for mains examination. Also, the candidate must have completed 20 years of age on the last date of online application; 2. The basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967; 3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
